And Speaking of Miller

First trailer for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.  I loved the first Sin City.  It was truly like watching a comic book in motion.  It was a true translation of page to screen, and not an adaptation.

Interview with Frank Miller

Frank Miller popped onto Reddit to answer some questions.  The man has some rather extreme views on politics, but also some interesting insights into the creative process.  He may be old and crazy, but Sin City was one of my major influences (both the film and the comics).  The honest, and brutal nature of Miller’s Neo-Noir world of black and gray morality speaks of the core of humanity.  It’s a world of violence, sex, and power, where doing the right thing requires extraordinary effort, and often leads to a bitter end where the only reward for the just is peace with their own conscience.
